The proposed Temperance Flat Dam threatens to drown the gorgeous San Joaquin River Gorge, providing minimal public benefit for an enormous $2.6 billion price-tag.
This river is home to unique blue oak forests, sacred tribal lands, habitat for 11 sensitive, threatened, and endangered species, the unique granite Millerton caves, class III-V whitewater.
