When Muskie Attack

One minute, 11-year-old Maren Kesselhon was peacefully dangling from her family’s SUP in Island Lake north of Duluth. The next second she was screaming wildly. At first Maren’s father Ryan couldn’t figure out why she was screaming but when she lifted her foot out of the water, he saw that it had been filleted open in multiple places.

The culprit remains at large, but it seems a monster muskie was responsible for the attack. Some exploration of Duluth’s waters might be needed to crack this case.
