Senator Lisa Murkowski is back at it again. While working to address escalating costs of wildfires in the Lower 48, Senator Murkowski added language to a draft wildfire bill that would stop the Tongass Land Management Plan in its tracks. Essentially, this new legislation would ignore the wishes of thousands of Alaskans and shut the door on collaborative decision-making. If passed, it puts important salmon waters at risk and all but guarantees a return to divisive logging, lawsuits and uncertainty for the Tongass.
Take action today and ask Senator Murkowski to drop this provision.
