This is my rough-cut submission for IF4. The film is about my brother Hajas and his passion for fly fishing, and how he got his passion for fly fishing from our mother. Now he lives on his passion part of the year.
We live in the mountains in Sweden. The climate is harsh – long winters, cold summers, and not so many hours of sun. The film reflects the moody grey feeling.
If our rough-cut film gets chosen, I will add film sequences of our mother fishing with Hajas and his son Leo (the parts in the rough-cut are photos instead of film). We will also re-do the voice-over, making it more “alive”.
Hajas is one of the ambassadors for Guideline Fly Fishing.
