The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission has proposed management changes for Striped Bass that would allow states to voluntarily transfer unused commercial quota from a state with a surplus to a state in need.
Tell ASMFC that you do not support allowing state commercial quota transfers because that will likely lead to an increase in the harvest at a time when the striped bass population is overfished and in a strict rebuilding plan.

the ASA is right to push back on this proposal. the asfmc is taking the exact WRONG approach. math, facts, and logic can solve this.
