The New Radicals broke up in 1999, just months after their anthemic single “You Get What You Give” became a hit all over the world. When lead singer Gregg Alexander heard that the song was the Biden family theme song while son Beau Biden was battling cancer, the band agreed to reunite after 22 years and perform the song live for the Joe Biden Kamala Harris 2021 Presidential Inauguration.
