Somewhere on YouTube there is (or was) the original 5 mins 15 secs official Geffin video of Sweet Child of Mine. It is one of the best music videos ever made. The video, in which the band set up and plug in on a large soundstage and then cut loose, is playing here now as I write this, as some pretty dreary Sunday morning neighbours fifty yards away can attest.
