Kudos to the Derby for giving striped bass a break this year.
The Martha’s Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby committee voted unanimously to remove striped bass as an eligible species for the 2020 Derby. As a result, Derby officials are looking to support the recovery of the fish in any way they can.
