I contacted YNP fisheries department because this article stated that cutthroat from Pebble Creek have been planted into Soda Butte Creek. That is incorrect. A brood stock from Pebble Creek has yet to be developed. This project is NOT complete. The only fish planted into Soda Butte Creek have been in the Silver Gate area outside of YNP. Those fish came from a fish hatchery. I also contacted the author of this article stating such info.
