The Florida House of Representatives followed the lead of the Senate and passed Senate Bill 10. This bill provides $800 million in funding to create a dynamic reservoir south of Lake Okeechobee, in the Everglades Agricultural Area. The reservoir is needed to provide fresh water to Florida Bay, and to alleviate discharges to the Caloosahatchee and St Lucie Rivers.
