Director of Photography Austin Walsh and Filmmaker Blake Kresge filmed in Alaska for a week. The voiceover is a poem in the public domain called The Spell of the Yukon by Robert Service. Their guide read it around a campfire after a long day filming in the wilderness, and they knew it was a match made in the Alaska heavens.
