Rep. Lee Zeldin, who represents New York’s 1st Congressional District has introduced two stealth amendments to an omnibus spending bill that would prevent federal fisheries enforcement agencies from enforcing the rules against striped bass fishing in the EEZ transit zone off Block Island.
Passage would be a very bad thing for striped bass.
