In 2019, we launched the Reel Pure Radio (RPR) podcast. The goal behind RPR was to share the stories and conversations about the people and places that define our fly fishing lives. Our first episode, called Chasing Shadows, is the story of Bryan Huskey and his attempt to catch what he calls his first “respectable” roosterfish from the beaches of Baja.
We promoted that initial episode via word of mouth with the expectation that there would be more episodes to come and a more extensive rollout to follow. Those episodes never materialized, and the first season of RPR consisted of just that one episode.
After a 3-year hiatus, we’re pleased to share Denny’s Fly Box, the first episode of Season 2, and a new partnership with Matt Devlin from the Montana Fishing Film Festival.
