The company behind the Pebble mine project in Alaska and U.S. EPA have told a federal judge they are close to settling long-running litigation over mining restrictions.
This does not mean that Pebble Mine is approved or moving forward but given the pro-development mentality of the current administration, this project could ultimately be approved.
Anglers must once again raise their objections to this misguided proposal.
