Patagonia Spends 71 Million on Wildlife Conservation & Politics

Putting their money where their mouth is

A little more than $3 million to block a proposed mine in Alaska. Another $3 million to conserve land in Chile and Argentina. And $1 million to help elect Democrats nationwide, including $200,000 to a super PAC this month.

Patagonia is funneling its profits to various groups working on everything from dam removal to voter registration.

  1. I came across your site while researching potential blogs and podcasts who might be in the market for content on unique fly fishing-related stories. I recently self-published a book, “Little Fish and The Six Lures,” which I like to think of as “an American version of The Little Prince.” It’s a story about a young fish who goes on a river adventure with his Auntie Perch to learn about “The Six Lures,” and, as you can probably guess, it features quite a few references to fly fishing! I would be happy to send you a copy for your reference, or you can download the epub file exclusively on Smashwords.com during my presale: https://www.smashwords.com/books/presale/1517378. The book is currently available for pre-order at all major online book outlets (Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, etc.) in both digital and Hardcover versions; the paperback will be live on Amazon.com March 1st. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
