Best steelhead run in years! That’s the general consensus of Erie tackle shop proprietors dealing with stream anglers on a daily basis.
Bring yer egg sack pattern…
“Yes, there are lots of steelhead, but it’s the typical story – some anglers are catching them and some anglers are not,” said Doug at Elk Creek Sports. “With stream levels up and slightly dingy the last few days, anglers using egg sacks seem to be doing better than fly-fishermen.”
