Not everyone gets an opportunity to memorialize a legend; however, “German Mike” Kraus, owner of Pompano Beach-based Marine Maintenance Managers, has spent the last two years dedicated to restoring Jose Wejebe’s boat – Spanish Fly.
Kraus purchased the 2002, 32-foot Sea Craft in July of 2021 for $40,000, but it needed much work.
This was the original Spanish Fly, designed in 1998 by Wejebe, and it launched his successful television show, which he named after his boat.
