The legendary Frank Moore was memorialized by the Oregon State Legislature last week. The legislation was sponsored by Democratic State Representative Ken Helm of Beaverton and Republican State Senator David Brock Smith of Port Orford.
Written testimony supporting the resolution came from Kirk Blaine, president of the Steamboaters, Becky McRae of the North Umpqua Foundation, and Jeffrey Dose, a retired fisheries biologist for the Umpqua National Forest.
