Those of you who have ever fished Flat Creek will understand.
It’s a serene place to be, the Elk Refuge. Anyone can see that. But anglers looking to catch a fish might venture elsewhere. Flat Creek makes it difficult to hook one, but supposedly, that’s the fun of it. That’s the allure.
And only the purists really understand that.
