Northern Dynasty Minerals says the Alaska district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers had extended a deadline to comment on plans regarding the Pebble copper mine to June 29.
The Army Corps’ Pacific Ocean Division had given the Alaska District 45 days to re-evaluate the appeal decision and notify the parties how it plans to proceed in light of the final determination by the Environmental Protection Agency.
