When Boston Red Sox pitcher and 2016 Cy Young Award winner Rick Porcello is not working out, playing baseball, or hanging with his family, he’s tying flies or reading fly-fishing books.
“Yeah, it’s bad,” he says. “It’s a problem. It’s all that I think about besides baseball. It just fascinates me. The different approaches to present the fly. I’m very passionate about it.”
