In conjunction with the WPA, Golden Gate Park and the San Francisco Fly Club, the Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club became one of the world’s premier fly casting venues. The Club and its members have made huge contributions to fly fishing, fly casting, fly tying, fly rod manufacturing and fly line construction. The club recently celebrated two concurrent anniversaries — 80 years since the facilities were built and 85 years since the club was formed.
