Follow along on this five-part series where we will follow along with a veteran on their journey with The Iron Freedom Foundation last August in the mountains of the Eastern Sierra’s.
In our first short film of the series, we will hear from Colton Clemans, a Marine Corps K9 handler who served both as a Marine and then as a private contractor in the civilian sector. Colton went downrange as a K9 handler as a private contractor to various middle eastern combat zones.
When Colton returned to civilian life, he picked up the sport of fly fishing from another combat veteran. He immediately fell in love with the sport and met Cameron Cushman through social media. A few years later, it would be Cameron who invited him on The Iron Freedom Foundation’s very first fly fishing program in the Eastern Sierra’s of California.
The Iron Freedom Foundation would like to thank all of those who have served and continue to do so. They also would like to thank all of the individuals and organizations who make these trips possible.
