Fished that river coming out of Hekla a long long time ago. The locals were spinfishing it back then. After watching one man catch a couple of real whoppers, I ended up lashing a couple of Brooks Blonde bucktails together in tandem, threading up an Orvis Nine by Nine early graphite and finally getting just one fish. But it was a 6-pounder.
