This short 8 min film is part of the traveling IF4 film festival to highlight the impact Joe Brooks had on fly fishing and fishing in general in Argentina. Before Joe, there was only a handful of fisherman from Buenos Aries who fished in a very limited way. But when they met Joe in 1955 everything changed. So much so that today it is a fly fishing Mecca and on every fly fisherman’s buck list. This all sources back to Joe Brooks and those men and women who followed in his footsteps. As Lefty Kreh says, we all owe Joe Brooks a huge debt of gratitude. He opened up the whole world for fly fishing both in fresh and salt water.
Lovely to see some old faces and places. Looking forward to the finished movie very much. Thanks.
