When Zana Gervaise locks up the Salmon River Sports Shop for good later this month, it’ll mark the end of an era. Anglers will still flock to Pulaski next year. They’ll still buy hooks, sinkers, and fishing rods at other tackle shops. They’ll still catch salmon.
But for the first time in more than 50 years, a member of the Gervaise family won’t be around to help them do it.
