This beautiful river is located in Lærdal County in Sogn og Fjordane, a county in western Norway. The river runs through green, landscapes with high mountains. The upper part of the river has a strong current with interesting pools and waterfalls. Down towards Borgundsfjorden, it calms down and flows quietly.
