The Atlantic Salmon Federation is collaborating with the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Canada’s Department of Fisheries and Oceans to tag Atlantic salmon in the waters off of Greenland. The tagging program will give biologists the best chance of understanding the issues with the return phase of the great Atlantic salmon migration to and from rivers in Maine, Atlantic Canada, and Quebec.
