I know I’m not supposed to love the Swedish brook trouts, but I do. My first fish on a dry fly was a brook trout and I have decided that my son has to walk in my footsteps. It’s not that easy to find lakes with brook trout in Sweden, they are not everywhere, but when they take over a place, you usually find thousands of brook trout. I tried to find one of those lakes and got some help from my Hillbilly friend, Jacksson. I recently read that Sweden now is trying to get rid of what we in Sweden call “Amerikansk Bäckröding” ( American Brook Char), it’s a good idea, but probably impossible.
