Alec Gerbec designed the Polar Prawn during his time guiding in Seychelles. While it was designed for those Indo-Pacific flats fish, it’s a great pattern for any saltwater fishery with bonefish or permit feeding on shrimp or large prawns. A versatile fly, Alec likes the Polar Prawn in sizes 2, 4, and 6. Alec is also the architect behind the famous Aphlexo Crab. His saltwater flats patterns are thoughtfully designed and tested on-the-water.
