There sure are some big-ass stripers in NC waters.
Electrofishing is used by fisheries biologists with N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission to sample fish populations in public waters in North Carolina from the mountains to the coast. The fish are temporarily stunned in the process but can be safely released unharmed back into the water.
