A memorial service for Frank Moore will be held on Saturday, May 28th.
The legendary World War II hero and fisherman passed away on January 23rd, one week shy of his 99th birthday. Moore, who built Steamboat Inn, was well known for his work in promoting fishing and conservation on the North Umpqua River.
The event is open to the community and will be held in Douglas Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
