Despite being in dire straights for years, the world is rushing to figure out ways to feed the poor starving population of southern resident killer whales due to a bad case of charismatic megafauna mayhem.
Because the diet of the resident orcas is made up in great part of chinook salmon, the folks at Whoosh Technologies AKA the “salmon cannon” think they can get in on some of the action.
