Never a Deadhead back in the day (with or without a sticker on my strictly non-Cadillac rustbucket; too young, much too busy fishing and needing every one my faculties in tact), but all these years on from that very creative time and its flood of new music heard in fizzing and crackling snatches on my first-car radio as I drove to a watery somewhere, I am periodically amazed on learning just what got Gerry Garcia got up to musically :- so all-musical styles, -genres and -disciplines versatile, and so “No big deal” damned good at it.
