The midway point of the tour brings us back to where WOTF began: Emerald Water Anglers in West Seattle. Join us at the shop where we’ll hear work from local writers Jon Tobey, Gregory Fitz, and Ann Bodle-Nash, as well as from Amanda Monthei and Alex Collier. Our featured non-profit for the Seattle event is YMCA’s BOLD/GOLD Mountain School, an organization that provides opportunities for inner-city youth to experience the outdoors and learn wilderness skills. The 4th stop of the tour brings us to Bellingham, hometown of The Flyfish Journal, “fly fishing’s coffee table bible.” We’ll hear work from Steve Duda, Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate, Cameron K Scott, James Hepworth, and Amanda Monthei. 11/18/17 | Lost + Found Cafe | Vancouver, British Columbia
We’ll finish things off north of the border at Lost + Found Cafe in Vancouver. The tour finale will feature Cameron K Scott, James Hepworth, Michael Doherty, and Will Rice. Our fifth and final non-profit is the Steelhead Society of British Columbia, whose mission is to advocate on behalf of wild salmonids and the rivers they depend on in British Columbia. $12 CAD, 6 pm.
