This April Filson, the Seattle-based outdoor outfitter, known for their Rugged Twill Luggage offerings, is introducing its first fly fishing specific luggage styles and a multi-functional fishing pack. The new line has been extensively field tested on the water and during travel to fishing expeditions across the globe.

We at the Chum are not ones to give gear reviews but being that we are based just a few miles from the Filson flagship store and factory where these bags are made, we’ve had a chance to get an up close look at Filson’s new fishing products. It’s pretty much impossible to pick up anything Filson and not be impressed with the quality of their craftsmanship, and the same is certainly true with these new bags. We stumble across quite a bit of fishing gear, and we have to say these bags set themselves apart with their quality construction, durable build, and rugged aesthetic. No doubt Filson’s new pack and luggage will give you decades of great use on the water and on the road to fishy places.
Fishing Pack, $295 – A padded Tin Cloth fishing pack with multiple pockets and carrying options that can be worn as a waist or chest pack. Dual front pockets with coil zipper.
