If there’s one thing more exhilarating than a screaming fly reel it’s a Formula One car at full throttle on one of the world’s great racetracks. Monte Carlo, Spa, Monza, and Silverstone are the automotive equivalent of some of the world’s great fishing locations, and our latest wallpaper contributor knows a thing or two about both.
Jamey Price is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based motorsport photojournalist and self-diagnosed fly fishing addict. His career started by covering horse racing in the United States, Great Britain, and Ireland, while also simultaneously competing as an apprentice steeplechase jockey himself. Since covering his first professional car race in 2011, Jamey’s images have been published around the world by Top Gear, MAXIM, Car & Driver, CycleWorld, Road & Track, RACER, MotorTrend, Autosport, F1 Racing, Motorsport Magazine, Blackbird Automotive Journal, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, the Washington Post, the Charlotte Observer and many more.
Jamey was kind enough to forward us this wallpaper of the fish equivalent of a race car that his friend caught somewhere in Boca Paila lagoon near Tulum.
Check out some of Jamey’s sensational images from around the world of motorsports racing.
