Prop 3 would provide the largest amount of money that’s ever come forward to take down the Matilija dam near Ojai, an official overseeing the dam removal project said.
“Eighty million wouldn’t go all the way, but it would get a very substantial portion of it done,” said Peter Sheydayi, who manages the project for the Ventura County Watershed Protection District.
